On our second week in Ghana we travelled to Kumasi to attend funeral celebration of our good friend Pastor Richard Nornoo's Grand mother. Funerals are a big affair in the Asante tradition. Pastor Richard said that at the early morning ceremony he had to greet at least 1000 guests formally as part of the protocol. What was really nice was the legacy which Pastor Richards Grandmother has left. She was a women of faith who encouraged and inspired her family to serve God. There are now a number of family members who are in the ministry of the Lord and many who are faithfully serving the Lord.
